The cutest little boy in the whole wide world!

Yo Mom, don't you know you're supposed to brush your teeth with that thing, not my hair?

Eric has cradle cap pretty bad, it was all over his scalp and face. The doctor recommended putting mineral oil on and using a toothbrush to get the flakes off, using Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo, and hydrocortisone cream. Since doing this his face has almost completely cleared up and his scalp looks much better. We found there's a reason for the name Selsun Blue, it really is blue!

"I want to wrap!"

Rylee loves to wrap up in what she calles her "yellow" blanket. (It is actually pink checked but on the trim of the blanket are some tiny yellow stripes, and since yellow is her favorite color I guess the tiny stripes are more important to her than the overall color.) She always wants to wrap up to go to bed, and she does the funniest little routine of getting wrapped, picking up her stuffed cow and monkey while holding onto her blanket and arranging herself just right in her bed.

She has recently discovered how nice and soft her blanket feels on her bare skin so she will go in her bedroom, take off all her clothes, then wrap up in her blanket. It takes a lot of coaxing to get her dressed again. The other day I was telling her that she needs to be modest and keep her clothes on. She started yelling "I don't want to be modest!" Oh boy, what are we going to do when she's a teenager?

You gotta love how toddlers can find such joy in repetition. Yesterday Rylee wanted to play "seek" (hide and seek). So I told her to hide while I closed my eyes and counted. She informed me that she was going to hide under the blanket. So I counted and then started to look for her, while she helped me by calling out "Here I am" and "I'm under the blanket" until I found her. How I ever would have found her without her help I don't know. Then she wanted to count and have me hide under the blanket. We did this for several rounds till I suggested that she hide somewhere else, but no, she only wanted to hide under the blanket. Each time I "found" her or she "found" me she thought it was hilariously funny, even after hiding in the same spot 10 times.

Two cuties in their diapers. Eric is definitely getting chunkier. He weighed 13lbs 3oz at his 2 month check-up and is in the 75th percentile.
