Little Troublemaker

One recent afternoon I was sitting on the couch nursing Eric. I had a 10 lb. bag of sugar sitting on the kitchen counter which I had just purchased at the store. Little Miss Rylee somehow managed to knock the bag off the counter. At first I was concerned that she had hurt herself, but she was OK. Then I worried that maybe the sugar had spilled, but I thought for sure I would have heard it on our hard floor. I asked Rylee if the sugar had spilled, but she chose to ignore my question.

So I continued nursing, hoping that it was ok. I saw Rylee get into a drawer and pull out some measuring cups, and I thought OK, I'll let her play with them to keep her entertained while I finish feeding Eric. However, she seemed unusually enthralled with the cups, quietly playing out of my sight behind the kitchen cupboards. I became a bit more worried that perhaps the sugar had spilled. I decided to head over there to check things out, and on my way I grabbed the camera, just in case a "kodak moment" disaster had occurred.

Sure enough, as I rounded the corner, there was sugar spread all over the floor, and one mischievous little redhead, sitting in the middle, happily dumping sugar into her shoe. I took some pictures and then found it too funny to get mad at her, although I quickly put an end to the festivities.

Here's a couple pictures of the indoor sandbox:

She sure had a great time!
